Sunday Worship
This Sunday, September 5th, is The Fifteenth Sunday After Pentecost. See announcement, below, for Sunday's special schedule. Pastor Jon's Sermon Theme is: "TBA". Holy Communion will be celebrated. See you in church!
Summer Sunday Morning Schedule Changes
On the first Sunday of the month in July, August and September, we will have only one worship hour. On those three Sundays (July 4th, August 1st, and September 5th), we will worship together at 10:00. A fellowship hour will be held one hour before the worship event. Mark your calendars now so you won't forget.
Chicken BBQ
Our lip-smackin' and finger-lickin'-good Chicken BBQ will be held on Sunday, September 19th, at noon. Dinner will consist of a half chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, homemade bread and apple butter, beverage and dessert. Tickets ($8.00 for adults, and $5.00 for children ages 4-10) are on sale on Sundays. Plan now to join us!
 Our SympathyWe were saddened to learn that our former pastor (from 1961-1973), Dan Sander, passed away on Sunday, August 15th.
Our sincerest sympathy to his wife, Nancy, and family and friends.
Visitation will be at Marsh Funeral Home, Pemberville, Ohio, on Thursday, August 19, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. The service to celebrate Pastor Sander's life will be held on Friday, August 20, at 11:00 AM here at Bethel.
